Siege Perilous 2 - Psylocke/Lady Mandarin

We’re about 3 weeks into sheltering at home, I’ve been drawing some of my favorite X-Men from the X-Men Australia/Siege Perilous era. The Siege Perilous was a magical artefact/gateway that transformed you into someone else when you emerged from it. Currently the world feels like it’s going through its own crucible and we’re all wondering who we'll be when we find ourselves on the other side of this, which is I guess why these particular characters have been on my mind.

The most dramatic change was Psylocke who entered the Siege Perilous as Captain Britain’s very English sister, Betsy Braddock and came out as the ninja Lady Mandarin. I’ve always loved the Lady mandarin armour and wish it popped up more. For whatever reason her introduction on the cover of X-Men #257 was miscolored this bright pink and teal palette, which is, INFINITELY BETTER so I decided to color her that way instead of the canonical Mandarin blue & steel.
